Be a Blessing and Pray

At Devonport Christian School, we deeply value the power of prayer and the opportunity it gives us to support one another, our school, and the wider community.

We warmly invite all parents and carers to join us each Wednesday for our Upper Room Prayer gathering in the 9/10 Centre Conference room, held immediately after Worship Wednesday from 9.00am to 9.30am.

We understand that many of our parents have young children, so alongside the prayer space we have a dedicated room for toddlers and little ones, complete with toys and colouring activities. This allows parents to participate in prayer while knowing their children are comfortably engaged nearby.

This is a wonderful opportunity to connect, reflect, and uplift our school community in a supportive and meaningful way. 

We would love to partner with you in prayer for the people, families, and future of DCS.

• Praise for a wonderful time at the Book Week, for the creativity of our students and staff

• Praise for our student senate, being a positive representative in our school across the wider local community

• Praise for all the fathers, grandfathers and paternal people in the lives of our families, students and DCS Community, and the opportunity to celebrate them this Father's Day

• Prayer for the Year 5/6 Excursion to Launceston next week
