Father's Day Expo This Friday!

The Father's Day Expo will be held this Friday 4th September, outside the Jiloa Centre. There will be a fantastic range of items available for students to purchase, including:

BBQ aprons
Funky socks
Homemade biscuits
Rocky road, brownies and truffles
A variety of novelty gifts for Dad

Most items will be priced at under $10.00, with a small number of larger items available at a higher price point.

Please note, EFTPOS facilities will only be available at the DCS Community stall. Purchases from other stallholders will require cash.

Students in Kinder to Year 2 (Copas) will have an opportunity to purchase gifts on Thursday, 3 September at 8:30am.

We look forward to blessing our students and families with this wonderful expo and helping them find the perfect Father's Day gift!

Book Fair Information

A reminder that wishlists and payments for Book Fair are due by Friday 4th September.

Our Book Fair is a fantastic way to support our Library. Thanks to the generosity of our school community, every Book Fair helps us add many new books to our collection for all students to enjoy.

Primary students have received a Book Fair invitation and, during Library lessons last week, created a wish list of books they'd love to own. Wish lists were sent home for families to review. Families are invited to look at the lists, decide which items, if any, they would like to purchase (please note there is no obligation to buy), and return completed wish lists to school (with payment) by Friday 4th September.

If your child wasn't at school when the wishlists were given out, we have more available in the library for families to come and fill out.

Books will be on display beside the Front Office throughout Book Week, and families are warmly invited to browse the collection. The Front Office is open from 8:00am to 4:00pm each school day. Payment options are: Online, EFTPOS or cash.

Please return all wish lists, whether purchasing or not, so we can ensure every child receives the correct order. If paying online, please make sure you use the Book Fair website, not the Book Club site.

Books will be ordered once all wish lists have been collected and are expected to arrive approximately three weeks later.
