Their strong results have earned them spots in the Queensland Schools Orienteering Team heading to the Australian Schools Orienteering Championships in Brisbane and Ipswich this September (27 Sept – 5 Oct).
- Calinda and Lorelai recently represented the High School Equestrian team at the Fraser Coast Queensland Inter-school Equestrian competition. Across many different disciplines such as Hacking, Rider classes, Dressage, Jumping and Sporting Lorelai achieved two podium finishes with 1st in Hacking and 3rd in jumping.
- Luke and Nevie recently attending the Darling Downs Multi-Class Athletics carnival for numerous running and throwing events. Both boys have reported that they thoroughly enjoyed the day, and Nevie has qualified for the Darling Downs Team that will travel away for the State Multi-class champs in Townsville later this year.
- Matt, Josh, Jess, Carter, Izzy and Liam all recently represented the school at the U13-19 Darling Downs Regional Athletics carnival over two days. Competition is always tough at this level, but our students represented themselves and the school proudly with strong performances on the day.

Brax was able to achieve a podium finish in both events with Silver medals and some great improvements in distance. A big congratulations to all these students on their personal achievements and helping to keep Toogoolawah on the map in terms of Sport!
Lastly is a final reminder that the 2nd round of the Somerset cup will be held on Tuesday the 16th of September at Toogoolawah SHS. Once again, Kilcoy and Lowood will come across and will this time compete in the sports of Netball and Touch.
Good luck to all the students involved on the day and all the best to all our athlete’s going onto higher level representation later this year.
