Hello Families and Friends,
Thank you sharing an amazing term with us. We have shared many highlights and the students have certainly been achieveing to high standards.
Last week we celebrated a fantastic Father's and Special People Day, enjoying hot dogs and activities in the sun on the oval. Thank you to Debbie and Miss Lim for organising such fun.
Our week ended with two outstanding performances of Seussical the Musical. Our students shone on the stage and those with back stage roles worked like clockwork ensuring all things were timed to perfection. A huge congratulations to all students, everyone one of them flourished. I would also like to thank Miss Henequin for her amazing organisation, her creativity and dedication to ensuring our shows were a huge success.
Thank you to all staff and our parent helpers too, with you all we would not be able to achieve such greatness. Later in the newsletter you will see some brilliant photos from our performances.
Term Four Uniform
Students are required to wear summer uniforms in Term Four. No leggings or tights are to be worn under summer dresses. As St Anthony's is a sunsmart school, all students will need their school hat in order to play outside. If they do not have a hat they will be directed to site at the undercover areas at the picnic tables during break times.
During Week One next term we will hold a second hand uniform shop.
Building/Renovation Project
Our upcoming renovations are scheduled to commence early next term. The current bus shelter space will be made into a kitchen classroom and a community gathering area. The community garden will be relocated to adjoin the kitchen classroom. The current middle and senior toilets will be demolished and new toilets will be built along the sides of the Padua and Soli Deo buildings.
It is a big project that will take some time. Works are projected to be completed during June 2026 however, we are very much looking forward to commencement of work.
Please see below some designs for our renovated spaces
I wish all families a safe and relaxing school holiday. I hope you enjoy some lovely spring weather. My footy team is taking a break this September, good luck if yours is still competing.
