🎼 Book Week 2026: Symphony of Stories is about to take centre stage!Book Week (Week 6 Term 3) remains a much-loved celebration of reading across Australia. It reminds us that reading isn’t just something we learn—it’s a lifelong symphony of imagination, discovery, and wonder.

2026 Book Week theme, Symphony of Stories, celebrates the harmony of books and the many voices, ideas, and experiences that stories bring together. Just as instruments create a beautiful symphony, each story adds its own unique note to our reading journey.

Throughout the week, students will enjoy a range of activities that inspire a love of reading, creativity, and imagination including a whole school ‘Read Around’, sharing of our favourite stories and the highlight of the week, book character dress-up day with parade. 

The upcoming school break is a great time to get creative and design a Book Week costume using items from around the home. A wonderful Book Week costume doesn't need to be expensive—some of the most memorable outfits come from a little imagination, a cardboard box, old clothes, craft supplies, and a favourite book!

We can't wait to see the inventive and unique costumes our students create as we bring a Symphony of Stories to life! 📚🎭✨
