Christmas Carols Night

As the year draws to a close, and we begin to celebrate in the lead up to Christmas, it was wonderful to host the 2024 Christmas Carols event at Holy Family on Thursday 5th December.

As part of this evening, families, loved ones and community members showed up to support our students and staff as they performed a range of festive acts. Whilst the dance club wowed with their magnificent moves, the 3/4 students and staff showcased their sensational singing, with P/1, 1/2 and 4/5 presenting a combination of both. 5/6 closed the evening with a simple but effective Nativity play set to 'Silent Night'. Congratulations to all on your beautiful performances.

As well as the entertainment, we also had a visit from Santa (Thanks Mr Webster!) who handed out candy canes to all of the children in attendance, and also collected donations in support of Possum Plate, who provide the school with their breakfast club toasties and sandwiches at lunchtimes. 

A huge thank you to all involved in the preparation and running of the evening, from those cooking and serving the food and drinks, to those who set-up and packed down the hall (and everyone in between). The event would not have happened without you!

The evening was such a great way to acknowledge our wonderful school and broader community, and we can't wait to host more of these in 2025!
