Wellbeing Education

Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships

Every Victorian Government School is mandated to deliver the Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships Curriculum from Foundation to Year 10.

The Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships (RRRR) and the Building Respectful Relationships (BRR) learning materials are designed for primary and secondary school teachers to develop students’ social, emotional and positive relationship skills.

The RRRR learning materials include 8 Social and Emotional Learning topics across all levels of primary and secondary education:

  • Emotional Literacy
  • Personal Strengths
  • Positive Coping
  • Problem Solving
  • Stress Management
  • Help Seeking
  • Gender and Identity
  • Positive Gender Relationships.

Students learn social and emotional skills to build healthy relationships, resilience and confidence.

The curriculum was developed with the aim to reduce incidences of family and gender based violence, and discrimination.

At Cavendish Primary School this curriculum is delivered weekly as the basis for our Wellbeing Education.

Teachers will communicate topics to be covered in their term "Fridge Notes".

If you have any questions about this curriculum, please approach your child's teacher or Kate Steele.

Currently our F-2 students have reviewed our School Values and Matrix of Expected Behaviours. They have started the topic "Positive Coping".

Our 3,4,5 class have also reviewed expectations and have started the topic "Problem Solving".
