Premier's Reading Challenge 

The Premier's Reading Challenge is a challenge open to all students K-6 in NSW. It aims to encourage the love of reading and literature. 

At Holy Family, the challenge opens next term. Usernames and passwords for students in Years 1-6 will be provided in Week Two. More information will be provided for families regarding the conditions and rules of the challenge. 

Students in Kindergarten will complete the reading challenge at school and all books read in the library and classroom will be uploaded for all students. 

All students who participate will receive a certificate at the end of the challenge in October. 

ICAS Testing 

As in previous years students in Years 3-6 will be invited to be part of the International Competitions and Assessments for Schools (ICAS). 

At Holy Family, we offer Science, English and Mathematics tests. The tests begin in August. 

More information will be coming to these grades next term. 

Please note that these tests are a cost for parents and are not included in our school assessment schedule.
