PBL - Respectful Morning Tea with Mrs Dinale
Congratulations to all the students who achieved the accolade of being the RESPECTFUL student from each class for Term 1.
These students enjoyed a Morning Tea with Mrs Dinale on Monday.
Happy Holidays from the Student Leaders
I don’t believe it! This term has come to an end, but that doesn’t mean the fun is over yet. Here are 14 fun and easy things to do during the holidays.
1. Go on a DIY Easter scavenger hunt
Hide everyday objects, draw up clues, or just explore your neighbourhood for “signs of Easter” like flowers, colours, or decorations.
2. Make Easter‑themed crafts using recyclables
Paper bunnies, egg‑shaped garlands, cardboard baskets — all from things you already have at home.
3. Have a picnic in a local park
Bring whatever snacks you’ve got at home. The fresh air does all the work.
4. Try natural egg‑colouring
Use things like turmeric, beetroot, or red cabbage to dye eggs. It’s surprisingly fun and very low‑effort.
5. Read outside in the sun
A book, a comic, or even a long article — everything feels better outdoors.
6. Do a “spring clean” reset
Not a chore — a vibe. Put on music and refresh your space for the new season.
7. Go wildlife spotting
Birds, insects, flowers — Easter is a great time to notice nature waking up.
8. Make a seasonal playlist
Songs that feel like sunshine, new beginnings, or cosy mornings.
9. Try a gentle morning stretch routine
A slow start to the day sets the tone for the whole holiday.
10. Take a photo walk
Capture Easter colours, autumn leaves (since it’s Easter in Australia), or anything that catches your eye.
11. Bake something simple
Hot cross buns if you’re feeling adventurous, or even just toast with cinnamon sugar for the Easter vibe.
12. Host a games afternoon
Board games, card games, or even made‑up challenges. Free fun with friends or family.
13. Have a cosy movie night
Pick a theme: animated classics, feel‑good films, or Easter‑ish movies.
14. Do absolutely nothing
The ultimate holiday luxury. Rest, nap, lounge, repeat.
From the students at holy family, Have a blessed easter, and an eggtasic holiday.
