VTAC application reminders for Year 12 students:

  • You must complete all compulsory course requirements for Year 12 applicants by the dates specified to ensure your application to that course will be considered – this may include additional admission requirements (eg. admission tests, interviews, auditions, folios or supplementary forms) and these are found in the course description on VTAC (click on the course link in your VTAC course preference list or find using VTAC CourseSearch).
  • VTAC communicates directly with you about courses you have submitted (saved) in your preference list (including course requirements that must be met) via the message inbox in your VTAC account and to your email – check both regularly and after making any changes to your VTAC application
  • Only paid VTAC course applications will be forwarded onto tertiary institutions to be considered for a course offer.
  • You can continue to add, remove or reorder courses (except for early closing courses which cannot be added) in your VTAC course preference list up to 12noon on 14 December for first round offers on 23 December 2024 (see Change of Preference section at VTAC Important dates).
  • New and Cancelled courses are listed on the VTAC website here.
  • Utilise the VTAC resources section found on the ‘Home’ page of your VTAC account – directs you to their Help Centre and to sign up for VTAC email updates and reminders.
  • Continue to read my posts in the Class of 2024 Careers channel on Teams to stay updated and refer to the VTAC app info tab which summarises the important info on applying via VTAC – students can contact me directly on Teams if still unsure about how to proceed.
