Sir Gustav Nossal Boulevard closures

Sir Gustav Nossal Boulevard will be closed in November to continue relocating underground water services.

Dates include:

7pm Friday 8 to 5am Monday 11 November
7pm Friday 15 to 5am Monday 18 November
7pm Friday 22 to 5am Monday 25 November.

Access to Sir Gustav Nossal Boulevard will be maintained via Enterprise Avenue and Venture Drive. Please allow an additional 5 minutes of travel time.

Princes Freeway inbound and outbound exit ramp closures

Princes Freeway exit ramps will be closed in both directions at times from October to December to remove the centre median on Clyde Road between Bemersyde Drive and Enterprise Avenue and build access points to the freeway overpass in preparation for widening next year.

Inbound exit ramp closure dates:

8pm Friday 8 November to 5am Monday 11 November
8pm Friday 15 November to 5am Monday 18 November
8pm Friday 22 November to 5am Monday 25 November
8pm Friday 29 November to 5am Monday 2 December
8pm Friday 6 December to 5am Monday 9 December
8pm Friday 13 December to 5am Monday 16 December.

Outbound exit ramp closure dates:

8pm Friday 8 November to 5am Monday 25 November (continuous closure)
8pm Friday 29 November to 5am Monday 2 December
8pm Friday 6 November to 5am Monday 9 December
8pm Friday 13 December to 5am Monday 16 December.

Detours will be in place via O’Shea Road and Princes Highway. Please allow an additional 20 minutes of travel time.

What to expect

To keep drivers and crews safe, lane and speed reductions will be in place on Clyde Road and the Princes Freeway, along with increased traffic management and signed detours to help guide drivers around our works safely.

There will also continue to be singed pedestrian detours in the area. For safety, students are advised to follow detour signage and the direction of traffic controllers.
