Our Staff 

During Reconciliation Week, our beloved Jacqui Avard celebrated a very special birthday. To mark the occasion, the incredibly talented Leesa Shannon created and presented Jacqui with a stunning Indigenous-inspired quilt.

The quilt was proudly displayed in our reception area for all to admire, although the photos truly do not do it justice. Leesa's craftsmanship, creativity and generosity are remarkable, and the care and thought behind such a meaningful gift made it even more special.

Moments like these remind us what a wonderful place St Anne's is to work. The friendships, kindness and support shared within our community make it feel like a second family. 

Jacqui was blown away by the gesture, sharing that the colours and patterns fit her "to a tee."

"I feel this gesture needs more acknowledgement than the actual birthday!" Jacqui said. "I can only imagine the time, dedication, and effort that goes into a project like this... I am truly grateful!"

Thank you, Leesa, for your incredible generosity, and a very happy milestone birthday to Jacqui!

Here at St Anne's College we have our wonderful learning mentor Ellie Phillips who is also a Justice of the Peace. 

Ellie says ... I am a Justice of the Peace officer and am available to sign statutory declarations, witness signatures and certify documents for members of the community. This is a free service.  I work on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays and am happy to assist during non-teaching times, including before school, break times and after school.
