From the Principal

End of Semester 1
Congratulations to all students on successfully completing Semester One! Your effort, resilience, and positive mindset to learning have been seen in classrooms, activities, and school events. As we begin Semester Two, I encourage you to make the most of every learning opportunity. Remember your goals, seek feedback from your teachers, support your classmates, and take pride in your progress.
Thank you to our staff and families for your ongoing support. Together, we look forward to a productive and engaging second half of the year filled with success achievement and meaningful learning experiences for everyone at St Anne's College.
World Cup Action!
It was great atmosphere at school today as we cheered on the socceroos!
Although we would have liked a win, to draw and get through to the next round is something we should all be proud of!
School Communication
This year, we are reviewing all school communications to ensure that students, parents, and carers receive information in the most efficient and effective way possible. With the significant increase in our use of social media and SIMON alerts in recent years, we have identified some duplication of information within our newsletters. As a result, we will reduce newsletters to two issues in Term 3 while we continue to refine and improve how we share information with our community. Our goal is to adopt the most innovative and effective methods to ensure communication remains relevant, engaging, and accessible for everyone.
Grandparents Day
Each year we celebrate St Anne's feast day with our Grandparent's Day. We invite all grandparents to join us for mass at the St Mel's church at 9:45am which will be followed by open primary classrooms back at school from 2.00-3.00pm.
We are looking for grandparents to play a small role in our mass - no reading or speaking! We would love to see you volunteer! Click here to find out more information or register interest.
Primary Assemblies
Just a reminder that our Primary School assemblies have moved to a new location and will now take place in the stage area near the main office at the new time of 2:25pm (session 6). This change gives us much more space for families to attend and enjoy the fantastic presentations by our students.
Please keep an eye on our calendar for Term 3 assembly dates.
Seeking Advisory Council Members
The St Anne's school advisory council plays a big role in overseeing school operations. We currently require some more parent representatives to be part of the group who meets 4 times a year. For more information, please contact me at school or via email principal@sackialla.catholic.edu.au
