Grade 6 Excursion

Our Grade 6 students recently enjoyed an exciting excursion to Melbourne City, bringing literature and learning to life!

Travelling in by train, the students were thrilled to explore real-life locations connected to our Term 1 novel.

One of the highlights was visiting the site of the iconic Cole’s Book Arcade, where students could imagine the bustling scenes described in the story. A special moment was spotting the vibrant rainbow featured in the book.

After exploring the city, we paused for a well-earned lunch. Students made the most of their time in the park, enjoying running around and having leaf fights!

The day ended with a trip to the Princess Theatre to see the amazing performance of Jesus Christ Superstar

The show captivated everyone with its music, energy, and storytelling.

It was a fantastic day filled with fun, friendship, and unforgettable learning experiences.

Dance workshop

Dean from Dance Curriculum spend a fun filled day teaching our students some new dance moves.

Each cohort got a 40 min session with him, choregraphing a routine to perform infront of the rest of the school and the end of the day.

We can confidently say that we have some VERY talented dancers at St A's!

St Kilda Football Team Visit

We were very lucky to have a visit from the St Kilda football club this week. Several players from the men's and woman's teams chatted with our students, gave them a bit of a run down on what it takes to be a professional AFL player before doing a Q&A.

They players did and meet and greet, signing footy cards and guernseys for our students before heading off.

For any students who were inspired by the players or are interested in giving footy a try, there are lots of Auskick clinics coming up over the school holidays, please see the flyer below for more information.
