Australia’s Biggest Morning

Last week some of the Secondary 11/12 VET classes hosted Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea at Bundoora campus. This event raised over $450 for the Cancer Council to supports the important work they do. The students and staff from the Secondary 11/12 team worked behind to scenes to prepare the food and set up the morning tea in the staff room.  It was such a successful event!

Safety and Supervision

A reminder to all parents and carers to please be mindful of driving in areas around the school, particularly in peak times such as before and after school. The bus loops at the front of each campus are open for pick up and drop off outside of the bus times, with a speed limit 10km/h. Please also be aware of Gleeson Drive at Bundoora Campus and Meagher St at Watsonia Campus and the congestion that can occur during the peak pick up and drop off times. Being mindful of the local speed limits, School Zone 40km/h speed limits and parking options will enable a safe environment for all our school  community.

I would also like to remind parents and carers that Concord School’s grounds are supervised by school staff from 8:45am until 9:00am. Bundoora campus offers an early drop-off at 8:30am in the Gym only, with students moving to the yard at 8:45am when staff are on duty.  We encourage you to contact TheirCare for more information about the before and after school care facilities available to our school community if you need your child to be dropped off earlier than when supervision commences.

Our top priority is the safety of everyone around our school and thank you for your support with this.
