What's been happening this week?

CAMP MASH UP
Our 5/6 camp to Ballarat and Sovereign Hill was a huge success! Lots of happy faces and fantastic experiences had. More stories in coming weeks! In the meantime, enjoy this mash up of activities enjoyed .....
ALL ABOUT HEAT
The Year 3/4 students recently took part in a series of exciting science experiments exploring the three different ways heat is transferred: conduction, convection and radiation. Throughout the investigations, students used their prior knowledge of heat and different materials to make thoughtful hypotheses and predictions about what they believed would happen during each experiment.
The hands-on activities encouraged students to observe, question and think scientifically as they explored how heat moves in different situations. It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm and curiosity as they tested their ideas and discussed their findings with classmates.
We look forward to continuing our exploration of heat next week with some delicious chocolate-based experiments!
