Principal's Message
As we move into another busy and exciting week at Box Hill North Primary School and Kindergarten, we are looking forward to welcoming families to our Open Evening this coming Wednesday 13th May from 5.00pm–6.30pm.
Our students and staff are excited to showcase the wonderful learning experiences taking place across the school, from Kinder through to Year 6. Families will have the opportunity to move through classrooms, participate in hands-on learning activities, and experience the warm, inclusive, and engaging environment that makes our school so special.
Whether you are a current family, have younger siblings who will be joining us in future years, or know someone considering schools for 2027 and beyond, we would love to see you there!
Open Evening is always a fantastic celebration of our school community and the ambition, creativity, compassion, and courage our students demonstrate every day. We encourage all families to come along and enjoy the evening together.

Our School-Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) Tree is looking fantastic, with more than half of our birds now proudly displayed! This is a wonderful reflection of the consistent effort our students are making to demonstrate our school values of compassion, courage, ambition and creativity in their everyday actions.
Each bird represents 100 positive behaviours noticed and acknowledged across the school, and it has been great to see students taking pride in contributing to this shared goal. There is a real sense of collective responsibility and excitement building.
We now have just 18 birds to go until our tree is full, which will trigger a whole-school Celebration Day. We look forward to recognising this achievement together and celebrating the positive, respectful and engaged culture our students continue to build.
Thank you to our students and staff for their ongoing commitment to making Box Hill North Primary School such a calm, safe and supportive place to learn.

This weekend, we also take the opportunity to celebrate Mother’s Day. On behalf of the staff and students at Box Hill North Primary School, I would like to extend our sincere thanks to all mothers, grandmothers, carers, and special people who play such an important role in the lives of our students. Your care, support, encouragement, and partnership with the school make an enormous difference each and every day.
We hope all of our families enjoy a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend filled with love, appreciation, and special moments together.
