Book Week – A Symphony of Stories

What a wonderful Book Week we have had! Our ‘A Symphony of Stories’ celebrations have provided a fantastic opportunity for our students to share their love of reading and celebrate the stories and characters that inspire them.

Our Book Week Parade on Monday was a real highlight. It was wonderful to see our students arrive dressed as their favourite book characters, with so much creativity, enthusiasm and imagination on display. From much-loved classics to contemporary favourites, our school was filled with an amazing array of characters and stories.

A big thank you to our families for the time and effort that went into creating costumes and supporting our students to participate. Most importantly, it was lovely to see the joy and excitement that books and stories bring to our students.

Throughout the week, our students have continued to celebrate reading through a range of activities, sharing stories and enjoying opportunities to talk about their favourite books.

Thank you to our staff for creating such a wonderful Book Week experience and for continuing to nurture a love of reading across our school.

We are excited to share some wonderful news as two of our teachers prepare to begin family leave and welcome new additions to their families.

Mrs Jessica Toomer-Smith will soon be welcoming her third child. Jess has been a valued member of our school community, and we wish her and her family all the very best as they prepare for this exciting new chapter.

We are also delighted to share that Mrs Amalie Watson is expecting her second child. We wish Amalie and her family every happiness as they prepare to grow their family. We will certainly miss them around our school, but look forward to hearing their exciting baby news!
