WORKING BEE - GRADES 2 & 3

A huge thank you to all our Grade 2 and Grade 3 families who came along to support our recent Valkstone Working Bee. It was fantastic to see so many parents and children pitching in together. weeding garden beds, sweeping pathways, and giving our playgrounds a much-needed tidy-up. Your teamwork and energy made a big difference, helping to keep our school grounds looking clean, safe, and welcoming for everyone.

A special thank you goes to the wonderful family who organised the delicious morning tea. After a busy morning of work, the opportunity to gather and share food was a highlight for all involved — a great way to connect and celebrate everyone’s efforts.

We are also especially grateful to the families who assisted with moving and preparing artwork for our upcoming Valkstone Art Show. Your time and care have helped set the stage for what promises to be a fantastic showcase of our students’ creativity.

Days like these remind us of what makes Valkstone so special: the strength of our community and the pride we all take in our school. Thank you once again to all who attended and supported the morning. Your help truly makes a difference, and we look forward to seeing everyone at future Working Bees and school events.
