Primary Footy/Sporting Colours Day

With footy finals just around the corner, we are approaching our whole primary school Footy/Sporting Colours Day event. 

Date: Tuesday, 16th September 2025

Dress:

Students are encouraged to dress up in the colours of a favourite sporting team. This can be an AFL team, or any other sporting player or team. Please understand, there is no expectation for children to wear actual sporting clothing of their favoured team, just the colour combination will be sufficient. If students own guernseys/gear from an actual team, they are encouraged to wear it.

Footwear:

Runners that are suitable for AFL incursion (students may bring football boots to change into for AFL Victoria lesson if they choose to).

Activities:        

• Footy/Sporting Colours Parade – Gym
• Footy activities – Classroom
• AFL Incursion – Each class will receive one lesson on the oval with AFL Victoria
• Staff vs Year 6 lunchtime footy match

Parents:

Parents are invited to watch the parade in the Gym at 9:00am. Please sign in at the office or reception and wear your green visitor’s sticker. Please note that due to child safe protocols, we cannot allow parents to photograph any students other than their own child/ren.
