Round 7 – vs. Epping PS

For Round 7, Lalor East PS faced off against Epping in a challenging round of interschool sports. Despite the effort and determination shown across all teams, Epping proved to be strong opponents, resulting in a clean sweep.

 

Volleyball

  • Boys: A hard-fought match, but Epping came out on top with a 2-0 win.

  • Girls: Similar result, with a 2-0 loss despite moments of promising play.

Netball

  • A Team: The game saw flashes of teamwork and defensive effort, though the final score was 11-2 to Epping.

  • B Team: A tough match with a 10-0 loss, but players kept their spirits up until the final whistle.

Soccer

  • A high-energy match ended in a 6-2 loss. Lalor East managed to score twice, showing that there’s solid potential building in the squad.

Round 8 - vs St Peter’s

Lalor East PS took on St Peter’s in a thrilling Round 8 of the winter interschool sports season, with some standout performances across all sports as we near the final round. Here's how the teams fared:

 

Volleyball

  • Girls: A sensational 2-0 win! The girls served strong, communicated well, and showed excellent team chemistry.

  • Boys: Despite a close battle, the boys went down 1-2 in a tough match that could’ve gone either way. Plenty of positives to take into the final round.

Soccer (Mixed)

  • Another win for our soccer stars, finishing 6-3 with attacking flair and tight defense. The team played with unity and flair, controlling the pace from start to finish.

Netball

  • A Team: A solid 12-6 victory! Great teamwork, slick passing, and some sharp shooting under pressure.

  • B Team: A tough 0-19 loss. The scoreboard didn’t reflect their effort and determination—lots of learning to build on.
