Cooking Club
Here is our land, here is our sky, here are our children and here am I. We stand together hand in hand to appreciate the Aboriginal People of this land.
This week children were involved in many meaningful experiences and cooking our afternoon tea with the children has been a highlight of the week. It is also amazing to be part of our planned learning experiences like volleyball at the gym, gaga ball outdoors and group games like tag, gymnastics, floor is lava.
Lalor East held Pyjama day also were our children and educators come well prepared. It was a lot of fun.
Cooperative play helps kids hone their social skills as they figure out how to negotiate group dynamics. It helps them learn how to collaborate and compromise with others, recognize and respond to others’ feelings, share, show affection, resolve conflicts, and adhere to the rules. In turn, these important early lessons help children understand the roles and rules of society!

REMINDERS:
1. As of 1st of May we no longer require SunSmart protection.
2. Parents are required to get their child/ren warmer jackets as we encourage and support indoor/outdoor play.
3. It would be amazing to have families share any recipes with us as we are starting with our Cooking club as of next week
