Advent

Advent is a special season in the Church when we prepare our hearts for the coming of Jesus at Christmas. It is a time of hope, waiting, and joyful expectation, marked by the lighting of candles on the Advent wreath each week. Advent began last Sunday and will continue for four weeks, leading us right up to Christmas. During this time, we encourage families to take moments of prayer and reflection together, helping children understand the meaning of waiting with hope and celebrating the love of God.
