Principal Team Updates
from everyone's desk.
It is hard to believe that we are in the second last week of Term 1. As always there is so much going on at Croydon Hills with students having so many opportunities. Our Year 6’s returned on Friday from their week long camp, over 300 children participated in ‘National Ride to School Day’, Year 1’s are currently undertaking school swimming and tonight our Year 2’s will ‘star’ in our annual Year 2 Concert.

Next week, our Easter Raffle will be drawn and we have a ‘Silly Hair Day’ on Thursday to raise money for the Royal Children’s Hospital. Many of our own students have had their lives saved at this amazing facility.
Thank you for supporting our staff on Tuesday by making alternative care arrangements for your children while they engaged in stop work action for better pay and conditions.
Please ensure that you update the office staff regarding any changes to who collects children from school. Support workers, Nanny’s, and the like need to be listed on Compass as people who you permit to collect your children. They need to present Working with Children Checks to the office staff for our records.
If relevant, please also ensure any updated legal orders are presented to the office.
Please note that before 8.45am and after 3.45pm students are not supervised in the yard. Parents or carers of children arriving too early and staying too late will be contacted by the office. If you require care for your children, please contact our Out of School Hours Program to enquire about booking your children in.
See you next Thursday at our final whole school assembly (12.50pm) and last day of Term (1.30pm dismissal).
Until next time,
Julie Reid - Acting Principal
