Visual Arts - Ayra FC (Be a Learner) Ayra showed persistence and resilience in the face of frustration while learning to draw people properly. She persevered and was successful, showing a great development of skills. Congratulations and well done Ayra!
Performing Arts - Remi Amani 1B (Be a learner) - Remi demonstrated persistence and resilience in Performing arts by completing her puppet to assist with her Drama. Remi was determined to collaborate with her peers to finish off their puppets so that we can begin acting out our characters for performance. Well done, Remi!
Chinese - Lomani 1B (Be a Learner) Lomani has shown impressive growth in his independent learning skills, taking on challenges with confidence and actively engaging in Chinese activities. His persistence in asking thoughtful questions shows his commitment to understanding and improving every step of the way. Well done Lomani.
6A - Isam - Isam has shown great improvement recently with his use of English to explain his thinking or ask questions. He is using his time constructively in Maths classes and has enjoyed sharing his ability with our latest Fraction unit. Well done Isam, great job!
6C - Shona- For your great enthusiasm this week, particularly in reading. You asked lots of thoughtful questions which showed you are eager to learn and extend your thinking. Well done, Shona.
5A - Harper (Be a Learner) demonstrates a strong level of self-awareness in her learning. She consistently puts in her best effort across all tasks and takes great pride in the quality of her schoolwork. Harper’s positive attitude and commitment to doing her best are wonderful to see. Well done Harper.
5B - Hildana (Be a Learner) for always trying her absolute best at all learning tasks and persevering when the learning is challenging. She has been working hard at spelling and reading new words, which has resulted in a huge improvement in both areas. Well done Hildana!
5C - Hargun (Be Respectful) for always showing kindness and consideration towards others. You greet people everyday with a smile and are inclusive of everyone you are working or playing with. Always respectful, you are a wonderful Human!
4A - Dilshaan - (Be a learner) for writing an amazing realistic adventure narrative about an exploding volcano! Dilshaan worked hard to incorporate all of the elements taught (a sizzling start, building up of tension, describing character actions and thoughts, adding interesting WOW words, and finishing with a satisfying end) to appeal to his reader. What a fantastic story Dilshaan! I'm so proud of your efforts!
4B - Emric - For always being a respectful and helpful member of our classroom and showing great focus during learning time. Emric consistently demonstrates kindness towards his classmates, is always willing to lend a helping hand, and approaches his learning with a positive attitude and determination to do his best. Keep up the fantastic work, Emric!
4C - Valerie (Be a Learner) for showing pride and resilience during maths this week. You worked hard to complete your problems and then challenged yourself by completing more challenging problems. Awesome work, Val!
3A - Dean (Be a Learner) -for remaining focused and trying his best this week while completing NAPLAN tests. Well done Dean, it’s great to see you always showing pride in your learning!
3B - Saachi (Be a Learner) - For putting incredible effort into your learning every single day. Your whole body listening and contributions during our mini lessons does not go unnoticed. The dedication to your learning has shined through in your narrative writing and maths assessment tasks. Well done Saachi, you should be incredibly proud of yourself.
2A- Ameen (Be a Learner) - For putting incredible effort into her narrative writing this week. Ameen has created a detailed narrative that is very engaging to the reader. Well done Ameen!
2B - Tinsae (Be a Learner) - for his effort and resilience in Mathematics. Tinsae works hard on all activities, keeps trying when problems are challenging, and enjoys learning new things. Well done!
