Bus Travel

Following on from a few behavioural issues during bus travel to and from school this year, we would like to remind ALL bus travellers of the etiquette that is expected of them whilst using the school bus services.
There are expectations of all students using school bus travel services from both the Bus Operators and GSSC.
Behaviours that aren’t accepted and that will result in further action include:
- Using offensive language
- Bullying, Teasing or Aggression
- Vandalism
- Smoking and Vaping
- Failing to listen to or ignoring instructions from the bus driver
School bus travel is a privilege and there will be consequences as a result of inappropriate behaviour while travelling on a bus.
Please also remember that if you travel on a local/town bus you are potentially sharing that bus with members of the general public. While wearing a GSSC uniform, whether during school hours or not, you are representing our school community.
We would like to also acknowledge the vast majority of travellers who are conducting themselves in a respectful manner and thank you for doing so! Continue representing yourself and GSSC with pride.
