Back to School Boost 

The Queensland Government has introduced the Back to School Boost from 2026, which provides $100 for every primary school student (Prep to Year 6) to assist families with school-related costs. Parents and carers can choose how the $100 can be used towards school-related expenses. The $100 has been credited to all student accounts and some have already used it.  

 

Any funds not used in the current school year will role to next year to be used as requested. It will be your choice as to what you would like to apply it to however you will need to notify us or apply it yourself through QParents. 

 

As with all new things, we have had some challenges and expect that more may arise. We have and are working really hard to ensure it is as smooth as possible for families. If you have any questions, suggestions or feedback please contact our Business Manager. 

 

 

Swimming - Back to School Boost

If you chose to use the back to school boost for swimming last Term you will receive an invoice for the relevant amount in the coming weeks. DO NOT PAY THE INVOICE. After the invoice has been issued, we will then make the adjustment to use the boost to apply back to the invoice. There is no possible way to be able to process any other way, so the important thing to do is ignore the Swimming Invoice and we will do the rest. 

 

Instrumental Music Fees

We are happy to inform you that this year the school will not be charging for Instrumental Music Lessons, if your child participates in lessons there is no charge for them, that is a saving of $50. There will still be an invoice for the Hire of Instruments, this will be issued in Week 3. If you have not already used the Back to School Boost, you will be able to apply that or the balance you may have left.

Did you know you receive school issued invoices in QParents?  You can pay them via the App by choosing to apply your Back to School Boost credit or using your card? Very quick, simple and easy to use.
