Our 2027 Prep Preview session will be held Wednesday May 20, 9.15-10.30am. This is an informal drop in and viewing session of our Prep classrooms in action.  Please see flyer for more information or contact the office for more details.

 

2027 Prep Principal Chats (enrolment interviews) have commenced.  Please collect an enrolment pack from the front office and book in with your Preppie for a Principal Chat. 

 

Goondiwindi State School Recognised as a 2026 State PBL Demonstration School

 

We are proud to share that our school has been recognised as a 2026 Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) Demonstration School for Qld.

 

This recognition highlights our school’s strong commitment to creating a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment for every student. Across the state, 64 schools have been acknowledged for implementing PBL with fidelity, using consistent and evidence-based practices that support student wellbeing and success.

 

At Goondiwindi State School, our approach focuses on:

  • Building strong Tier 1 systems that support all students
  • Using data to guide decisions and improve outcomes

  • Working collaboratively with staff, students, and our wider community

     

Being recognised as a PBL Demonstration School means we have the opportunity to showcase the great work happening at our school at the State PBL Conference later this term and supporting other schools in their own PBL journey.

 

We are incredibly proud of our students, staff, and families who contribute every day to making our school a positive and respectful place to learn.
