Principal's Message

Term 1 has been a busy and exciting time at our school, with many events and learning opportunities taking place. Highlights included NAPLAN, school swimming, our Start Up program, Lunar New Year celebrations, and plenty of engaging classroom learning.
It was wonderful to attend the Foundation and Year 5/6 showcases this week and see the culmination of students’ hard work. Our Foundation students explored their place in the community, sharing their understanding of how they belong and contribute. Meanwhile, our Year 5/6 students investigated what is needed to create well-planned and sustainable towns, presenting thoughtful and creative dioramas.
5/6 Inter School Sport
This week, our Year 5/6 students headed off to Donvale Reserve to take part in the interschool sport program. Students had the opportunity to compete in a range of sports, including cricket, ultimate frisbee, tennis, and volleyball.
It was fantastic to see everyone demonstrating great teamwork, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm throughout the day. Whether competing or supporting their teammates, all students represented our school with pride and respect.
Well done to everyone who participated!
Easter Hat Parade and Family Breakfast
Today we held our annual Family Breakfast and Easter Hat Parade. It was wonderful to see our community come together to celebrate the end of the term .
The parade was a highlight, with an incredible display of colourful and creative hats on show. From bright bonnets adorned with flowers and ribbons to imaginative designs featuring bunnies, chicks, and Easter eggs, each hat reflected the enthusiasm and creativity of our students and families. It was delightful to see such pride and effort in every creation, and the smiles on everyone’s faces made the event even more special.
A big thank you to all of the “helping hands” from School Council, Amt Moore, Shereen Ong and all staff, who contributed their time and effort to support in the preparation of Family Breakfast. A big thanks to OSH CLub who suplied the coffee van for today.
Pyjama and Cosy Clothes Day
Thank you to our SRC for organising Pyjama and Cosy Clothes Day. It was wonderful to see everyone getting involved, showing their school spirit, and supporting such an important cause.
Thanks to the generosity of our school community, we have collected five boxes of food that will be sent to families who were impacted by the bushfires. Your contributions will make a real difference in helping these families who are still recovering from a difficult time.
