New parking restrictions around Brentwood.
The council has informed us that Kirkwall Court will now have signage installed limiting parking during the day. The new parking restrictions will be 2 hour parking from 9am to 6pm on School Days.
Students and parents are reminded to check any parking signs when parking in streets surrounding the College.
Students and parents are not to park or drive on school grounds at any point in time during the school day.
School Uniform Price Adjustment
Our uniform supplier has advised that, effective 1 October 2026, there will be a 3% price increase across the school uniform range.
The supplier has advised that this increase is necessary due to rising international shipping and freight costs, increased labour expenses and changes in exchange rates.
Despite these ongoing cost pressures, they have sought to minimise the impact on families by limiting the increase to 3%.
The supplier remains committed to providing high-quality, durable uniforms that represent good value for our school community while maintaining the level of service families have come to expect.
Families who are planning to purchase uniform items may wish to do so before the new prices take effect on 1 October 2026.
Work at the Victorian state election
The Victorian state election will be held on Saturday 28 November 2026.
The Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC) is looking for people to staff voting centres in paid roles.
Roles suit a range of skills, experience and availability. Some involve several weeks of work before or after election day. Others are just for election day.
Working at an election is a chance to:
- earn extra income
- gain valuable work experience
- meet new people
- support your community
play a role in Victoria's democracy.

To help the VEC place you at a local voting centre, please take 2 extra steps when you apply:
- write our school's name in the free-text section of your application

Attention Year 12 Students
We are asking you all to please be considerate to our neighbours when parking in the local streets. We have recently had multiple calls from our neighbours advising us of students parking over driveways, causing an inability for our neighbours to leave their driveway's and students parking in narrow streets causing congestion. This results in an inability to have their rubbish collected on bin day (Wednesday).
We would appreciate your assistance in this matter as the neighbours are looking at having the local council to attend the streets looking to issue fines if applicable.
Student Safety – School Drop-Off and Pick-Up
The safety and wellbeing of our students is our highest priority. To help ensure a safe environment for all members of our school community, the school car park is reserved for staff use only.
Parents, students, and learner drivers must not enter the school car park for student drop-off or pick-up. Restricting access to the car park helps minimise vehicle movements in areas where students may be walking and reduces the risk of accidents.
Where possible, families are encouraged to drop students off within a short walking distance of the school. This helps reduce traffic congestion around the campus and creates a safer environment for students arriving at and leaving school.
Please avoid stopping on Heath Street for drop-off or pick-up. Parking restrictions apply, and stopping in this area can create visibility and traffic hazards that place students and other road users at risk.
We ask all members of our school community to support student safety by:
- Not parking across driveways.
- Obeying all parking and traffic signage.
- Following local road rules at all times.
- Being mindful of pedestrians and students when driving near the school.

Finance Update
A reminder that 2026 Parent Payments and elective subject payments are posted on compass.
Please continue to email the school if you wish to use CSEF or any remaining school savings bonus.
Please check with students before paying for an event or committing to a camp. Our refund policy states that a refund can only occur if the student has been replaced. We do take out Insurance cover for camps however the claims process is quite rigorous and claims for non-attendance on a camp can only be considered if the student has a doctors certificate stating they are unfit to attend for the dates of the camp.

Camps, Sports & Excursions Fund (CSEF) 2026
CSEF will be provided by the Victorian Government to assist eligible families to help cover the costs of school camps, sports and excursions. Families holding a valid means-tested concession card for e.g. Veterans Affairs Gold Card, Centrelink Health Care Card (HCC) or Pensioner Concession Card (PCC) and Temporary Foster Parents are eligible to apply.
A Special Consideration category exists for:
Refugee and Asylum seeker families and families on temporary protection or Safe Haven Visas who are not permanent residents and do not have access to Centrelink or a have a Health care Card.
Students in out of home care, including statutory kinship care or foster care.
Students who are 16 years or older and who hold a valid Concession Card (such as a Youth Allowance Health Care Card or Disability Pension Card) are eligible to apply for CSEF.
The allowance is paid to the school to use towards expenses relating to camps, sports and excursions for the benefit of your child. The annual CSEF amount per student is $400 for secondary school students.
CSEF Application Forms 2026 are attached on Compass Newsfeed or can be downloaded on Compass under School Documentation (Two-person icon on Compass dashboard), CSEF. Application Forms are also available at the General Office.

CSEF Applications for 2026 are Closed, for General applications.
Special consideration applicants are eligible to apply for CSEF in Terms 3 & 4.
