The Addams Family: A Spectacular School Musical

Melton Secondary College’s 2026 production of The Addams Family brought students, staff and families together for a memorable celebration of creativity, collaboration and performance.

With students from Years 7–12 involved both on stage and behind the scenes, the production was a wonderful opportunity for young people to develop their skills, build confidence and contribute to a shared achievement. From auditions and rehearsals to costumes, set construction, technical production and backstage responsibilities, students showed commitment, resilience and plenty of Addams Family spirit.

The production team worked tirelessly to bring the show to life, with students and staff collaborating across the College to create an entertaining and ambitious performance. A special thank you goes to our cast and crew for their enthusiasm and hard work, and to the staff, families and volunteers who supported rehearsals and performances, helped with costumes and backstage duties, welcomed audiences and assisted with the many tasks that make a school production possible.

We were delighted to share the production with our school community. These performances gave our students the chance to showcase their talents and celebrate the results of their dedication.

Congratulations to everyone involved in The Addams Family. We are incredibly proud of what you achieved and grateful to everyone who helped make the 2026 school musical such a success!
