Dear Parents/Carers, 

Discovery Centre

Our team in the Discovery Centre have created a fantastic space in the MILE Room to support student learning as part of the whole school Discovery Units. This semester, the Discovery Units explore ‘Identity, Creativity & Wellness’. Once again, the MILE room has been designed to not only represent the semester's learning but also to offer a calm and relaxing environment that can be used for whole class, small groups or individuals as a space to regulate, refocus and reset.

Individual Education Plans (IEPs)

Teachers have been using the information provided from our Student Support Group meetings earlier in the year along with conducting assessments with students to set IEP goals for Semester One. They will be available via Compass on the 13th March. 

Please follow the steps below to access your child’s IEP. If you have any questions, feel free to contact your classroom teacher or section leader.

Koori Club

At Concord we run a weekly Koori Club, which is a safe, inclusive space for students to strengthen their connection to Culture, Community, and Country. This club fosters pride in identity through activities like art, music, sports and storytelling. The club last week participated in a weaving incursion run by Red Country Weaving Co.
