Koorie Kids Day Out:

Last Friday, our Junior Koorie group came together with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander primary school students from across the Mornington Peninsula to celebrate their culture and connection at the Koorie Kids Day Out. 

This event took place at Willum Warrain, where students had the opportunity to participate in a rage of cultural activities and practices. Some highlights of the day included a welcoming ceremony,  cultural dancing, jewellery making and cultural painting activities.

Our  students enjoyed embracing their cultural identities and connecting with other students in the community.
