Year 6 Legacy Project 2025

On behalf of the Year 6 cohort, we are proud to officially present our Year 6 legacy project — the Gaga Pit — to the school community.

We worked with Indigenous artist Taylah Eid to help transform the Gaga Pit into a fun, welcoming and inspiring space for all students to enjoy. To celebrate our school spirit and teamwork, we chose a theme that reflects our house colours, animals and school values.

We began by discussing the design brief, then worked in our house groups to sketch ideas using vibrant colours and eye-catching patterns. Once our designs were complete, they were combined to create a final design, which was painted onto panels around the Gaga Pit.

Our teachers then sent us out group by group to paint alongside Taylah. We completed the project by adding our names to one section. Overall, this was a magical experience, and we are proud to leave a positive and lasting mark on our school.
