Caulfield Volunteer Awards

Last week I was privileged with the opportunity to attend the 2025 Caulfield Volunteer Awards, hosted by our local Member for Caulfield, Mr. David Southwick, in conjunction with Community Bank Caulfield Park. 

I was in attendance to celebrate the nomination of our School Council President, Jackie Dzienciol, nominated as a ‘Local Hero’ in the Education category at the annual awards ceremony, held at the Glen Eira Council Auditorium. 

Jackie, in her role as School Council President, year level lead and member of the Community Engagement Sub-Committee, has contributed considerably to a range of school improvement and engagement projects in her time as a parent at our school. Significantly, Jackie engaged local business in our 2024 fundraising project to deliver a new senior playground. Jackie’s leadership at a School Council level in the past twelve months has brought stability, support and inclusiveness to the group. Her approach, manner and tireless commitment is greatly appreciated by all at our school.

I congratulate Jackie on her outstanding achievement and well-deserved recognition at this event and cannot thank her enough for her support of our school.
