Physical Education

On Thursday, May 8th, the Grade 3 to 6 students participated in the BCPS Athletics Carnival, held at Casey Fields Regional Athletics Track. 

Throughout the day, students competed in a range of events including relays, sprints, hurdles, long jump, triple jump, high jump, and shot put. 

All students put in a fantastic effort, and it was wonderful to see so many of them encouraging and supporting each other throughout the day.

Students in Grades 4, 5, and 6 who finished 1st in the hurdles and 100m sprint have qualified for District Athletics. Additionally, students who recorded the longest distance in long jump, triple jump, and shot put, as well as those who jumped the highest in high jump, have also qualified.

District Athletics will take place in Term 3. More information will be provided to students who have qualified closer to the event.
