Signs of the Week
Prep to Grade 3 students have been immersing themselves in the vibrant world of Auslan colours through engaging activities.
They explored signed stories like Baa Baa Blue Sheep and White Rabbit's Colors, enhancing their understanding of colour signs.
Hands-on activities included creating rainbow streamers, colour-coordinated sheep, chalk, playdoh, and class books, all reinforcing their learning.
A highlight was learning to sign the song "I Can Sing/Sign a Rainbow," combining music and Auslan to deepen their connection with the language.
