Lunch Order – Information for Families

To assist our canteen volunteers and ensure lunch orders are processed smoothly, please follow the instructions below when preparing your child’s lunch order.

How to Complete a Lunch Order

Please write the following details clearly on a large paper sandwich bag:

• Your child’s full name
• Their year group (please list the year, not class name)
• The food items they wish to purchase
• The correct price for each item ordered

Please place money securely inside the bag. Exact money is appreciated but not essential, change will be returned to your child where required.

We understand that many students enjoy writing their own lunch orders. While we encourage this independence, we kindly ask parents/carers to ensure all writing is clear and easy to read to avoid any confusion with orders.

Lunch Order Collection

Lunch order bags will be collected from classrooms each morning and delivered to the canteen.

All lunch orders must be submitted by 9:30am.

Suitable Lunch Order Bags

Acceptable:

• Large paper sandwich bags
• Sandwich bags are also available for purchase from the canteen if needed

Not Acceptable:

• Used paper or plastic bags with visible food or other stains

• Paper bags previously used for alcoholic beverages.

Cup Noodles 

We would just like to remind families that two-minute noodles/cup noodles are not available for purchase from the canteen. Unfortunately, hot boiling water is also not available for students who bring noodles from home.

This is due to the health and safety risks associated with boiling water.
