Attendance

As we draw to a conclusion in Term One, some students have already missed multiple weeks of school. 

Now it is important to note: 

We understand families need to visit family overseas, this is important. 

We appreciate families who keep their children home when sick, this helps all of us. 

However, generally speaking, we know that we can improve attendance at our school. It is our job to support this. 

Every day your child does not attend, and we haven't been notified of a reason, we will call the family to check in. 

To assist us, please put the absence into Nforma before 8:55am. Once the role is done, it will not work. If after this time, please call the office, or email your child's teacher. 

We know, and I know as a dad, sometimes you need your kid to stay home, but over all, we should be aiming for above 95% attendance for every child. That equates to 190 days in a 200 day school year.
