150 Year Celebration

Macedon Primary School Celebrates 150 Years – A Step Back in Time

 

On Saturday 15th November 2025, Macedon Primary School will proudly celebrate a remarkable milestone – 150 years of education, community, and growth. With the theme “A Step Back in Time,” the celebration promises to honour the rich history of the school while bringing together past and present students, staff, families, and the wider Macedon community.

 

The event will be a day of reflection, storytelling, and celebration. From historical displays, performances to community activities and shared memories, the school grounds will come alive with the stories of generations who’ve walked its halls.

 

Special thanks go to Halle Grant for the thoughtful and creative design of the Community advertising board, which beautifully captures the essence of the event.

The school also extends heartfelt appreciation to the major sponsors, whose generous support helped bring this milestone to life. Their names are proudly displayed on the community board, in recognition of their commitment to our community.

 

As the community gathers to mark 150 years of Macedon Primary School, it's a chance to reconnect, reminisce, and look ahead to a bright future rooted in strong community values.

 

We warmly invite all current and former students, families, staff, and friends to join us on the day. Let’s celebrate our school’s legacy – and take a proud step back in time.

 

 

Volunteers Needed:

We are seeking volunteers to assist with the following:

  • BBQ Stall set-up.
  • Running the BBQ Stall throughout the day.
  • Cleaning up BBQ Stall.
  • Second-hand Book Stall set-up.
  • Running the Second-hand Book Stall.
  • Cleaning up the Second-hand Book Stall.

Set-up and Pack-up sessions require 1 hour of your time, and the sessions during the day require 2 hours.
