Athletics Carnival  - 

Venue Change 

Dear Parents and Carers,

As communicated earlier this week, we made the decision to postpone the Athletics Carnival, originally scheduled for Monday 10th August. This was due to significant overnight rainfall and forecast rain for the day, which meant we could not safely proceed with the event.

We're pleased to confirm the make-up carnival will now be held on Tuesday 18th August at Mentone Athletics Club, as the original venue was unavailable for this date. The consent and payment provided for the original Compass event has been rolled over to this updated venue.

 Please note:

• If your child can no longer attend, please email Renay at renay.whitehead@education.vic.gov.au

• If you had initially declined but can now attend, please ensure you consent and pay via the Compass event.

   

Event Details:

Brighton Primary School House Athletics will be held on Tuesday 18th August at Mentone Athletics Club. Results from this event are used to select the athletics team for the Seaside District Athletics Carnival, taking place on September 8th.

• Students are required to be at school by 8.40am and meet their class teacher on the basketball court.

• BUSES WILL LEAVE AT 8.50AM — PLEASE ENSURE YOU ARE AT SCHOOL ON TIME.
