Grade 4A News

This term in grade four, we have been learning about poetry to get ready for the Writer’s Festival. The types of poems we have learned about are Cinquains, Diamantes, Quatrains, Kennings, Haikus, Shape Poems and Free Verse.

A Kenning is a way of describing something using clues rather than just saying what it is, so read our Kenning and guess the topic:
