HARMONY DAY:
On Monday 23 March, our students are invited to wear a touch of orange, culturally significant clothing or colours that represent their flag in recognition of Harmony Day, which is officially recognised on 21 March each year.
Harmony Day is a day recognised Australia wide that celebrates Australia’s cultural diversity and promotes the message that “everyone belongs.” It is an opportunity to learn about respect, inclusiveness, and the many cultures that make up our community.
Orange is the colour of Harmony Day and represents respect, diversity, and social inclusion.
As part of the celebration, we will be providing a sausage or a veggie dish for students at lunchtime for no cost. Azem from People Supporting People will be assisting with the BBQ.
We look forward to celebrating together and highlighting the values of respect, belonging, and community.
RESCHEDULED STUDENT FREE DAY:
Due to a slight building delay with our new Primary School stage, we have rescheduled a student free day from Tuesday 21 April to Friday 15 May.
We still have a student free day on Monday 20 April (first day of Term 2) which is a Staff Professional Development day.
We thank you for your understanding. We look forward to our new stage opening very soon.
