Kim congratulated our students for stepping forward into leadership, acknowledging that their willingness to lead shows not only courage, but also a genuine desire to make a difference, advocate for others and create positive change.

We are incredibly proud of our School Captains for leading the way and setting such a positive example for our College community.

VCE Unit 1 Biology

Today, Chelsea's VCE Biology Unit 1 students took part in a hands-on kidney dissection. While it took a little time for a couple of students to settle their stomachs, they quickly pushed through to fully immerse themselves in the experience.

After studying the renal excretion system, this practical provided a valuable opportunity for students to closely examine and identify the structure of the kidney. Using lamb kidneys, similar in size and structure to human kidneys, students were able to deepen their understanding in a real-world context.

Throughout the session, students created detailed diagrams, discussed their findings and asked many questions, demonstrating strong curiosity and engagement with their learning.
