What's been happening this week?

MATERIAL WORLD!

Amid all the excitement of NAPLAN, our Year 3/4 students have been busy exploring the properties of different materials. As part of our Inquiry unit, Material World, students have been experimenting with a variety of materials to observe how they react in water. Along the way, they have been developing their scientific vocabulary, learning terms such as floating, absorbent, repel, and many more.

We are now looking forward to the next stage of our learning, where students will put their discoveries to the test by designing and constructing a package to safely deliver toy ducklings!
