Gold Award

Last week we received the exciting news that we have been awarded Gold level status for the implementation of our Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) framework.

The Gold level of acknowledgement recognises that our school has sustained PBL Tier 1 practices over two or more years, with measurable improvements in student behaviour and engagement, and have also met the key fidelity measures. 

Students have a clear understanding of the behaviour expectations at our school and are reporting this through student surveys. In many classes we are also seeing students positively acknowledging their peers when they display these expectations, as well as the teacher acknowledgements. Many students have also already amassed large amounts of tokens and have enjoyed redeeming these for various activities over the past couple of weeks.
