Seven Deadly Sins

Our Year 11 and 12 VCE Drama students are proud to present their original ensemble performance, Seven Deadly Sins, on Wednesday, 6 May at 5.30pm in the Drama Studio.

This powerful and thought-provoking performance has been devised by our senior Drama students as part of their VCE studies.   Drawing on the concept of the seven deadly sins, students explore contemporary social issues through a series of dynamic and engaging scenes.  The performance showcases their creativity, collaboration and ability to apply contemporary drama practices, including heightened use of language, symbolic elements and expressive movement.

Audiences can expect a compelling theatrical experience that challenges, entertains and provokes reflection.  Each scene has been carefully crafted through the processes of researching, improvising, scripting, rehearsing and refining, demonstrating the depth of skill and commitment our students bring to their work.

We warmly invite members of our school community, particularly students considering VCE Drama, to attend and support our talented performers.  This is a wonderful opportunity to experience live student theatre and gain insight into senior Drama.
