SWIMMING

Amazing effort by everyone last week!

It is a long day for the students, getting on buses, getting changed, walking around with their backpacks, and I didn’t hear one complaint, just enthusiasm. Then to do this over the course of the whole week was outstanding.

So, a massive well done to all our fantastic students.

And none of this can happen without the skill, teamwork and dedication of all the teachers and staff who made it all possible. A huge thank you to you all.

I’m sure everyone slept well on Friday night!

LIGHTNING PREMIERSHIP

What a day, the footballers won the event for the first time in thirteen years, and the grade 6 girls team went through undefeated. So, a couple of incredible results on the same day for us. A huge thanks to the students who gave their accounts of the day.

The footy final was very exciting, and it was great that everyone got to experience such a win. It was fantastic to have parent support, and the cheering on from the crowd was so inspiring for our team. A big thanks to Kylie for looking after all the footy uniforms and equipment once again.

Both netball teams were terrific by the sounds and a big thanks to Ms Manners, Ms Condritt, Georgia and Kynan for making it a wonderful day for all the girls who represented our school on the day.

HOUSE ATHLETICS

Students have been doing so well in our practise sessions over the course of the term during PE classes. I can’t wait to see how everyone goes on the day and more importantly, it's about helping your house and having loads of fun.

Every event that you participate in means points for your House, and people trying their best in all events is what I look forward to seeing the most. Good luck to everyone and I can’t wait to see you there dressed in your house colours.

R U OK DAY

Next Thursday the 11th of September is R U OK Day, students will be undertaking various activities on the day.

If someone is not being themselves, or seem sad, be a good friend and ask them RU OK? and show them that you care. 

Let's not forget that this can be done on any day.
