Religious Education

As we reach the end of what has been an incredibly vibrant, joyful and wonderfully busy term, I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to our entire school community.

Together, we have walked a beautiful journey of faith over the last few weeks.

Celebrating First Holy Communion 🕊️

The absolute highlight of our term was witnessing our beautiful students receive the Sacrament of First Eucharist. It was a deeply moving milestone for our parish and school.

To see the reverence, excitement, and pure joy on the children's faces as they approached the altar for the first time is something I won’t soon forget. A sincere thank you to Fr Joe for supporting our students and the candidates from the parish in their celebration of this sacrament.

  • To our students: Congratulations! We pray that the grace of this sacrament continues to nourish you and guide you every single day.
  • To our families: Thank you for your partnership, your presence, and for guiding your children so beautifully in their faith.
  • To our staff: A heartfelt thank you for the countless hours of preparation, coordination, and love poured into making these celebrations so meaningful.

Looking Ahead: The Gift of Fortitude and Faith 🔥

While the holidays offer us a well-deserved chance to rest and recharge, next term brings another landmark moment in our spiritual calendar. We will begin preparing our senior students to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.

Through Confirmation, our students will seal the promises made at their Baptism and be strengthened by the gifts of the Holy Spirit. It is a powerful step into spiritual maturity, and we look forward to supporting them as they get ready to make their own stand in faith. More details about preparation dates and reflection days will be shared early in Term 3.

A Blessing for the Holidays

"May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you." — Numbers 6:24-25

I wish you all a safe, restful, and happy winter break. May your homes be filled with laughter, warmth, and special family time.

God bless.
