Welcome Back Term 3

A warm welcome back to all of our students,  families and staff as we begin another exciting term at St Francis Xavier's.

Our staff have enjoyed two productive Staff Development Days in preparation for the term ahead. Monday was spent at school focusing on curriculum planning, professional learning and preparing for a successful Term 3. Yesterday, staff joined colleagues at St Xavier's in Gunnedah to complete the next module of the Berry Street Education Model, continuing to strengthen strategies that support student wellbeing, engagement and learning.

This term we welcome three new staff members to our school, Mr Enda O’Connell in Year 3, Mrs Brooke Woodhill in Kinder and Miss Kristie Toomey as an additional Aboriginal Education Assistant. 

School Projects

We are excited to share that several improvement projects have recently taken place around our school.

As you may have noticed, new perimeter security fencing and gates have been installed to further enhance the safety of our school grounds, with the final stages of the project completed during the school holidays.

Our School Canteen has also been upgraded with new roller doors and security screens.

These upgrades are part of our ongoing commitment to providing a safe, functional and welcoming learning environment for our students, staff and wider school community.
